VOTES FOR WOMEN

 


Morena Reader(s), on Wednesday the 25th of August I tried to remake a poster that was in the 1800's about Votes For Women. Hopefully you'll understand the main message, but if you don't I'll explain it; 'Equality isn't like pie; no one gets left out.' What that means is if you compare equality to pie it means women were getting left out on the equality pie.

    Kia ora Lottie, your poster is great. You have a great catchy slogan and it doesn't have too many colours so it is easy on the eyes.

    I like your reference to pie. It is so true, no one wants to miss out on pie.

    What do you think you would ask Kate Sheppard if you got to meet her?
